Even those who can not tolerate measurements, sewing machines and hand stitches, can transform their clothes. It is easier than it seems at first glance. A few minutes, and your denim jacket will look like it was made specifically for filming in a popular western. Let's get started!
You will need:
- Sharp scissors;
- meter fringe (approximately, depending on the size of your jacket and the length of the sleeves);
- finishing tape meter;
- textile glue
Step 1:
Attach the fringe to the back of your jacket to cut the desired length. The edges of the fringe and braid, which includes synthetic fibers, can be slightly scorched over the flame of a candle or with a lighter. This will prevent the shedding of threads.
Step 2:
Apply glue for textiles directly on the jacket, and then a certain amount on the fringe itself. Press the trim to the fabric. You can fix it by putting something heavy on top.
Step 3:
On the upper border of the fringe, glue the braid in ethnic style. Let the glue dry a little.
Step 4:
In the same way, decorate the sleeves of your jacket. If you want to achieve a more discreet design - skip this step.
Step 5:
Wait until the glue is completely dry, and you can enjoy your new jacket in country style!
